The Park Department has started working on the drainage problem at Biscuit Acres this week. They have installed fencing around the problem area and plan on working there for the next few days. They are installing a new drainage system underground that will flow into the concrete drainage ditch in the small dog park to eliminate the standing water in the large and small dog park. This project is expected to take a week or more depending on what they find underground.
Please be prepared for a possible park closure over the next week or so. I will get advance notice from the Park Department if a closing is necessary and alert everyone at that time. We will post a closure notification on Biscuit Acres Facebook and Nextdoor to reach as many patrons as possible. Signs will also be posted at the entrance.
